Terms of Service
Effective October 26, 2026. Nyraven LLC, United States.
These are the terms for using NyrAtlas, a web application for drawing and keeping fiber plant records, made by Nyraven LLC. Creating an account means you accept them. They are short on purpose; the Privacy Policy covers what happens to your data.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep the sign-in to yourself, give us a real email address, and tell us if you think someone else has got in. What is done from your account is your responsibility. An organization decides who is in it and what each role can touch, and answers for managing that; each person answers for what they themselves do. If you accept these terms for an organization, you are saying you are allowed to.
Plans and billing
Every account gets one free project of its own. Organization plans are priced by the number of enclosures mapped, as shown on the Pricing page, and are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, by card or bank account, on the same day each period. A yearly plan can instead be paid by invoice, due within thirty days. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any tax that may apply. Prices can change; an existing plan keeps its price until you change plans, and we give notice before any change that would affect you.
Moving up a plan charges the difference for the rest of the period right away. Moving down leaves a credit against the next invoice. You can cancel from the organization's Billing tab at any time: the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed, and there are no refunds for a partial period. If a payment fails, the plan stays active while the card or bank account is retried, and ends if the retries do not succeed. An invoice left unpaid past its due date ends the plan the same way.
When a plan ends, the organization's projects become view-only until a plan is active again. When an organization is at its plan's enclosure limit, everything already mapped stays editable and no more enclosures can be added until the plan grows or some are removed. When it is over the limit, after moving to a smaller plan, the newest enclosures past the plan's number become view-only: they still open, trace and print, and can be removed, and everything older stays editable. Nothing is deleted either way.
Your content
What you map is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only what we need to run the service: to store it, back it up, show it to the people you share it with, and move it between our servers. You are responsible for having the right to record what you record, and for anything in it that belongs to someone else. The app itself, its code, its drawings and its name, stay ours.
A map in NyrAtlas is a record, not a certification. It says what someone drew or measured, and it is only as right as they were. It is not a locate, and it does not tell you where it is safe to dig. Verify in the field, and follow the safety rules and permits that apply, before you dig, cut, splice or sign anything on the strength of it.
Acceptable use
Use the app for keeping fiber records and the things around that. Do not use it to break the law, to attack the service or anyone on it, to get at another account's data, to send spam, to get around a plan's limits, or to resell access. Automated use of the app from within your own signed-in session is fine, and documented at /agents.md; scraping other people's data is not. Scraping the site or the app, or using anything on them to train a model, is not allowed.
What we promise, and what we do not
We run the service with care and keep nightly backups, and we tell you about planned downtime where we can. We do not promise it will never be unavailable or never have a bug, and the app is provided as it is, with updates landing often. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is more. Nothing here takes away a right the law says cannot be taken away.
Ending things
You can stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account through the Contact page. The same page is where you ask for a copy of your data, at any time and for any reason. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and will say why unless the law stops us; where we can, we say so first and give you a chance to put it right. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least sixty days of notice and a way to get your data out first.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we email every account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that is acceptance of the new terms.
The rest
If someone brings a claim against us because of what you put in the app or how you used it, that is yours to answer for, not ours. Neither of us is on the hook for what an outage, a disaster or another event outside our control makes impossible, except that money already owed is still owed. If a court finds one line of these terms unenforceable, the rest still stand. The parts about your content, about liability and about what you answer for keep applying after your account ends. If you and Nyraven LLC have signed a separate agreement, that one wins where the two disagree.
The service is run from the United States and your data is stored there; if you use it from somewhere else, you are bringing your data here, and whether that is allowed where you are is yours to check. If Nyraven LLC is ever sold, these terms and your account go to whoever takes over the service. Your account is yours and not for handing to someone else without asking us first. Notices from us go to the email address on your account; notices to us go through the Contact page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and any dispute goes to the courts there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
